SAXS data from solutions of Mitochondrial cysteine desulfurase-ISCU-Frataxin (NFS1, ISD11 and Acp heterodimer complex) in 20 mM HEPES, 150 mM NaCl, 5 mM TCEP, pH 7.5 were collected on a Bruker Nanostar instrument (Madison, WI, USA) using a MikroGap Vantec-2000 detector at a sample-detector distance of 1 m and at a wavelength of λ = 0.15418 nm (l(s) vs s, where s = 4πsinθ/λ, and 2θ is the scattering angle). Solute concentrations ranging between 2 and 10 mg/ml were measured at 25°C. Four successive 3600 second frames were collected. The data were normalized to the intensity of the transmitted beam and radially averaged; the scattering of the solvent-blank was subtracted.
