Synchrotron SAXS data from solutions of BinB protein in PBS buffer (10 mM Na2HPO4, 1.8 mM KH2PO4, 137 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl), pH 7.4 were collected on the BL-18 beam line at INDUS-2 (Indore, India) using a MAR 345 Image Plate detector at a sample-detector distance of 32.4 m and at a wavelength of λ = 0.1033 nm (I(s) vs s, where s = 4πsinθ/λ, and 2θ is the scattering angle). One solute concentration of 4.80 mg/ml was measured at 25°C. One 600 second frame was collected. The data were normalized to the intensity of the transmitted beam and radially averaged; the scattering of the solvent-blank was subtracted.
This entry is the SAXS data for receptor binding BinB component of the L. sphaericus mosquito-larvicidal BinAB (binary) toxin. Experimental data of low q (< 0.03 A-1) and high q (> 0.25 A-1) were removed prior to ATSAS analysis. The SAXS data is on relative scale and thus the intensities are not normalized to protein concentration and MW from I(0) cannot be estimated. CAUTION! Error propagation likely incorrect! CAUTION! Errors are severely over estimated. CAUTION! p(r) profile does not fit the SAXS data. CAUTION! Buffer mismatch likely. CAUTION! Error on Rg (from Guinier) is in excess of 0.5 nm. CAUTION! Guinier sRg range is limited to 0.88 < sRg < 1.12. CAUTION! Non-linear Guinier plot 0.89 < sRg < 1.3. CAUTION! Porod volume is inconsistent with a protein MW of 56 kDa. CAUTION! DAM model representation is derived from individual model spatial alignment and filtering (DAMFILT.pdb); individual DAM model fits not provided; NSD unknown.
