SAXS data from solutions of the probable transcriptional regulatory protein Lrp/AsnC protein Rv2324 in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, 2 mM EDTA, pH 7.5 were collected using an Anton Paar SAXSpace instrument at the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (Lucknow, India) using a Dectris Mythen 2R1K detector at a sample-detector distance of 0.3 m and at a wavelength of λ = 0.154 nm (I(s) vs s, where s = 4πsinθ/λ, and 2θ is the scattering angle). One solute concentration of 7.20 mg/ml was measured at 10°C. Two successive 1800 second frames were collected. The data were normalized to the intensity of the transmitted beam and radially averaged; the scattering of the solvent-blank was subtracted.
CAUTION! The errors on the scattering intensities are not specified correctly and are severely over estimated. CAUTION! A non-linear/poorly defined Guinier region is noted (lnI(s) vs s^2 for sRg<1.3). CAUTION! Possible aggregation. CAUTION! The Porod volume (156 nm^3) is inconsistent for a 36 kDa protein (expected Porod volume = ca. 60 nm^3). CAUTION! The atomistic model (bottom) does not fit the data. CAUTION! The atomistic model is missing the C-terminal histidine tag that is present in the SAXS sample construct.
