Synchrotron SAXS data from solutions of the survival motor neuron SMN(GCN4IL) Chimera•Gemin2 complex in 20 mM Na/KPO4 pH 7.0, 150 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, were collected on the X21 beam line at the NSLS (Upton, USA) using a MAR165 detector at a sample-detector distance of 0.8 m and at a wavelength of λ = 0.1239 nm (I(s) vs s, where s = 4πsinθ/λ, and 2θ is the scattering angle). One solute concentration of 12.00 mg/ml was measured at 4°C. Three successive 30 second frames were collected. The data were normalized to the intensity of the transmitted beam and radially averaged; the scattering of the solvent-blank was subtracted.
