Synchrotron SAXS data from solutions of lysozyme crystallization solutions with precipitants in 100 mM sodium acetate, pH 4.6, 2.0 M sodium formate, pH 4.6 were collected on the EMBL P12 beam line at PETRA III (DESY, Hamburg, Germany) using a Pilatus 6M detector at a sample-detector distance of 3 m and at a wavelength of λ = 0.124 nm (I(s) vs s, where s = 4πsinθ/λ, and 2θ is the scattering angle). One solute concentration of 20.00 mg/ml was measured at 20°C. 20 successive 0.100 second frames were collected. The data were normalized to the intensity of the transmitted beam and radially averaged; the scattering of the solvent-blank was subtracted.
Experimental SAXS data set from lysozyme crystallization solutions with precipitants
from crystallization kits CS 1 and CS2. The oligomeric composition (volume fractions of monomers, dimers, and octamers) were estimated by OLIGOMER. Volume fractions of octamers are within 0.9% and 4.4 %. An additional zip file made available in the full entry archive contains the OLIGOMER fit files, volume fractions and a Table key with information about the buffer composition.
