The N-terminal GST-like domain of P. berghei cytosolic methionyl-tRNA synthetase (MRS-N). The construction displays a glycine insertion after the first methionine derived from the cloning restriction site. Additional residues at the C-terminus resulted from the cleavage of the 6xHis tag. MRS-N in the M-complex is present in two copies, each one associated to a monomer of ERS-N.
